The Nauticales 2024: Promoting Electric Navigation with Orphie Boats in La Ciotat

The Nauticales 2024 hosted a roundtable on March 21, focusing on the transition to electric boating. Notable figures from the maritime industry, including Tony Oller, Harbor Master of Saint-Tropez, Mathieu Morin, President of Ze Boat, along with Didier Réault, Vice-President of the Metropolis and President of the Calanques National Park, and Julien Tavernier, Mission Manager for Nautical Activities at the Calanques National Park, shared initiatives for CO2 reduction and electric navigation promotion.

Key discussions revolved around decarbonization ambitions and electric propulsion benefits. Orphie Boats was highlighted as a key player and a leader in this transition towards more environmentally friendly navigation.

We extend our gratitude to the AFBE (Association Française pour le Bateau Electrique) for their contribution to Nauticales 2024. Learn more about their efforts at AFBE's website.
